Your recovery phrase is a 24-word sequence that serves as a backup for your private keys. It's the only way to restore access to your crypto assets if your Ledger device is lost, stolen, or damaged. You must keep it secure and never share it with anyone.
To update your Ledger device's firmware, open Ledger Live, connect your device, and follow the on-screen instructions. Make sure your device is charged (for Nano X) and that you have your recovery phrase handy before starting the update process.
Yes, you can use your Ledger device with multiple computers. Simply install Ledger Live on each computer and connect your device. Your private keys remain securely stored on the device itself, so you can safely manage your assets from different machines.
If you lose your Ledger device, you can restore access to your funds using your recovery phrase. Purchase a new Ledger device, set it up, and choose the "Restore from recovery phrase" option during initialization. Enter your 24-word recovery phrase to regain access to your accounts.
